I found myself in Dillons this morning from 7:30 to just after 8:00 (see photo) to get last minute things before I finally start the grading and noticed I was practically the only woman in the store. Could it be that married men shop early so that they can cook breakfast for their wives just because? Then I saw the card aisle. Oh.

Happy Mother’s Day to all who have or are. I didn’t forget–I sent my Mother’s Day gift already: a dress from Coldwater Creek for my son’s wedding. She saw one she liked in their current catalog and I found one online that was similar for far less and sent it to her. My kids are giving me a B.A., a B.F.A., and a new daughter-in-law for Mother’s Day. What a haul!
