Not much else happened today, but I did write. it’s day 23 of the PAD Challenge and I have more than 23 poems, most of which are done or revisable into usefulness. Today’s poem in particular was one I’d needed to write for several years, since it will be a framework poem for a big section of my (all new) poetry manuscript. Time works differently when you write. I sat down at 4:30 PM with only a title and the vision, and next noted the time when it was 8:00 PM, much too late to go to the wedding I was supposed to attend. It only felt like fifteen minutes or so. The groom is a writer, so I hope he understands.
