Midnight at nine-thirty

It was darker today from 9:30 to 11:00 AM than at night. Here is the reason why as it was moving in–a fast-moving storm blowing in from Kansas.

The light was so odd. It was like taking night photos, but with more light and detail. I took this close-up of the Hosta to get the raindrops, not knowing that the serious rain was going to arrive in about fifteen more minutes.
