As one who spent a significant part of growing up in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, summer memories for me do not include the color green. Zoyzia grass was the norm and most people gave up by July and let it go dormant. It’s almost July and everything is green! Things are blooming and I did not do a thing! The photo is of one of the hangings I have instead of hanging planters. I’m not good at remembering to water and my front porch does not get good light, so I came up with other solutions for the space.
